Farm Beach

We met up with Bob, Grace, Ivan, Gloria, Nev and Linda at Farm Beach to do a little fishing.
We caught a few King George whiting but as it was late in the season we did not bag our limit.

The Tractor Graveyard

This is where the fishermen dump their tractors, once used to launch their boats. They're just left to rust.
The council was about to remove them. A pity really as it gave the area a bit of character.

We were told this is the beach the movie Gallipoli was made.

The famous oyster beds of Coffin Bay.
We bought a sack of oysters and shucked them ourselves.
We froze most of them and dined on oysters for the next 6 months.

Emu's wandering through the township of Coffin Bay.

Coffin Bay National Park

Opposing tide surges clash between the island and park.
