Arthur River

The rather narrow bridge across the Arthur River.

A view from the mouth of the river toward town.

The Edge of the World.
North West Coast of Tasmania.

The plaque at the Edge of the World.

"I cast my pebble onto the shore of Eternity.
To be washed by the Ocean of Time.
It has shape, form and substance.
It is me.
One day I will be no more.
But my pebble will remain here.
On the shore of Eternity.
Mute witness for the aeon's.
That today I came and stood.
At the edge of the world."

We did the Arther River cruise.
The MV George Robinson cruises up the river
to a BBQ area they have set up in the forest.

The cruise passes various types of landscape from coastal foliage
to tall rain forest timber.

The colourful Azure Kingfisher.

Female Sea Eagle by her huge nest.

The magnificent White Bellied Sea Eagle.

The guide threw the Eagle a fish.

Two Pademelon Wallaby's

A cheeky Pied Currawong.
Tried to take a sausage out of my hand.

When we spot something interesting
the boat tries to get in close to take photographs.

Two dogs having fun on Sundown Beach.
Nelson Bay

Marble-like rock formations at
Sundown Point.

Surreal rock formations.

Don't you just love a west coast sunset over water.
