The Nut



Not many RV'ers know that if you drive past the Caravan Park
and down to the old dock you can free camp
at the bottom of The Nut.

Chris talking to Jim. He is an interesting man who skippers ships down to the Antarctic. His passion and business on the wharf is building and restoring old wooden boats.

Highfield House

One of the oldest buildings in the northwest of Tasmania is Highfield house,
being the early headquarters of the Van Diemens Land Company.
Buildings on the site date from 1828.
