Tasmainia - Heading West

Time to head west. We drove along the north coast on Bass Hwy to Wynyard.
The highway hugs the coastline along a good part of its route offering spectacular coastal vistas.

Paul, a close friend had always spoken of his family heritage and his great grandparents originating from a grand estate in Burnie so we drove past the house to have a roadside look.

Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition Centre

The centre features local resident Francis Ransley's collection of veteran motor cars, including a 1903 Model A Ford, one of only two in existence and the equal oldest Ford in the world.

If you have any appreciation of the beauty of veteran cars this is a must see.
