Nevada

Valley of Fire State Park

The Valley of Fire State Park derives its name from red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs, 150 million years ago.

Elephant Rock

One of the walks we did took us to White Domes.

Ancient Petroglyph.

A girl climbed up on a rock and posed for a photo.

This area is appropriately called Beehives.

A view over Rainbow Vista.

Rainbow Vista seems a popular place for wedding photography.

Sunset near our camp.

Pahrump

Main street through Pahrump, a desert town.
